Chasing and crunching numbers as a sales representative and then an accountant in my previous career life gave me communication and teamwork skills, but did little for my soul. That all changed when I picked up my grandfather's old Pentax ME camera.

Once I got serious by going back to school for a Masters and some formal training in photojournalism, as well as graphic design, I was hooked. Producing stories about people led to a sense of fulfillment I never dreamed possible.

Using photos, and now video as well as audio to tell these stories has left me lucky and thankful for making the career change when I did and excited about the emerging digital future of multimedia storytelling.
